I am filing an N 600 K under the grandparent status, because the U.S. citizen parent has not been physically present in the US for five years, with two years of which were after the age of 14.
My question is who would sign the application on page 5 part 7 where it says applicants signature? Would that be the parent or the grandparent?
Part 7 on page 5 reads: I certify under penalty of perjury under the law of the United States, that this application, and the evidence submitted with it, is all true and correct. I authorize the release of any information from my records that U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services needs to determine eligibility for the benefit I am seeking.
