5 years of continous residence completed but then I stayed outside

I applied for naturlization in end of year 2007 but i was not eligble to apply for it and they refused me in interview and sent me letter through mail that I am eligible to apply in August 2008. so my years of continous residence completed in August 2008 with trips to foreign but return within 6 months. In Nov 08 God blessed me with baby boy born in Philidelphia after completing the continous residence of 5 years and five months, I went back to my home country so that my parents & inlaws can see their grandson & I stayed for more than six months n less than one year in my home country. Does my continous residence expired or I am still eligible to apply for naturalization as my continous residence was already completed in August 08. during this time, my sister was in USA and got naturlized within this time and my real uncles & thier families are settled there. Even I have paid the tax return for this year too. My son born there and got Us Passport and his medical record is active there in states. My bank account still exist with some account balance but no transaction during this time. Does these shows the legal bindings to USA to overcome more than 6months stay.
