Details:
1) Both parents naturalized to become USCs while I was a 13 yo living with them in their custody in the US, therefore I derived citizenship from them
2) My parents got me a US passport; they never got me a Certificate of Citizenship
I want to file N600 to get a CoC as a 30 year old adult, I have the following questions:
1) I am currently married but obviously wasn't when I was 13. Is current marital status (question 12) yes or no? I assume yes.
2) For question (14) that asks how you arrived, neither me nor my parents have those details available anymore, i.e. port of entry and date of entry. Can I type unknown and attach an explanation?
3) For question (14) that asks for passport information, my old Indian passport was returned to the Indian consulate 17 years ago when I got my US passport. Can this also be left blank or can I type unknown here as well?
4) For question (21) "Do you regularly reside in the United States in the legal and physical custody of your U.S. citizen parents", I don't now but did when I was 13. Should I say yes or no? I assume I have to answer this from my 13 yo perspective and say YES?
5) Do I even need a CoC? My concern is what if I lose my passport and need to prove citizenship for a new one.
