  • N400 interview experience in Dallas

Today I went to N400 interview in Dallas office for N400 interview. Firstly I would like to provide a little background about me and how was my experience with the USCIS officer.

I am from Pakistan and I received my green card via my ex-wife back in 2013 with the 16 years of marriage with 2 kids. I had CIMT waiver back in 2003 with a felony record. I got approved for the green card in 2013, I had travel twice in the last 5 years for no more than 30 days in each occurrence.

I was scheduled to appear at the USCIS office for 10:15 a.m. I waited for only 10 mins before I was called for the interview. The immigration officer was extremely nice. I took everything with me from DL to Tax papers but he did not asked me a single paper. I was very surprised especially being with CIMT record in the file I was prepared to answer anything. Anyway
I took the oat passed the civics and English test an gone through N400 application.

After answering all the questions, he asked me for my address, phone number, and email address. I have confirmed everything to him and later we talked about Kobe Bryant death and other stuff...

After few mins of chit chat, he gave me N-652 with the checkmark of Recommendation for approvals. (Dream comes true baby). this was a long journey for me.

I was expecting lot of grilling on my conviction and the marriage but not a single question nor a single paper work ask...

I am looking forward to Oath Ceremony. Does Anyone know how will it take from here to get the Oath letter and the ceremony?
