I need advice regarding my husband's citizenship application. It was filed in May 2022 under the 5-year rule, but we haven't received any updates besides biometrics reuse in January 2023. We've reached out to USCIS, Congress, and Senators, but the response is always "pending background checks." My husband is a clean-record graduate student, and we file taxes jointly. He received quick results from an FBI background check request. Unsure if we should cancel and reapply or take legal action. Any advice is appreciated!
