i was hired as a sales staff for the gift shops on-board a cruise ship and i already finished all the trainings and requirements except for the c1d visa. when i applied for that i was refused b coz of my lack of ship board experience.
all my experiences are in retail/sales,whch are all land-based.i was confused why the consular officer didn't consider approving my application on the basis that i will work in the retail shops.
i really need the visa because i will be joining the ship in california and i'm planning to re-apply again.what will i do to establish that i am qualified for my stated purpose of travel?
