Hi All
I need to travel to India due to a family emergency in December this year (december 2015). I have a valid DS-2019 till February 26th 2016 but my J1 visa stamp expired this year. If I go to India, can i get my J1 visa renewed even if my DS-2019 is valid for only 2 months. Will the consular do it or reject visa renewal for such a short period.
My DS-2019 will be renewed in February for another year, but i need to travel to India now.
