J1 Visa
Hello everyone,
I am a resident physician in Internal Medicine in my second year on a J1 VISA. Due to some pressing family issues, I have to go back to India for a few months. I am thinking of resigning from my current program and come back next year on another J1. I might continue in Internal Medicine as a pGY-2 or start afresh in family medicine. Does anyone know if this could be feasible and can anyone provide any contact who has done something like this. Your help will be greatly appreciated. From my side, if anyone has any questions, I will be more than happy to answer. I have been in the states for over 6 years.
