Hi all,
I am indian medical doctor, i received my J1 visa today, as i am offered a job in medical research in US university. In my Ds 2019 form , the visa officer has highlighted that 2yrHRR applies, and beneath that its mentioned according to PL94-484 as amended.
Now i thought that i will be subjected to 2yr HRR rule according to exchange visitor skills list, and hence will be able to get a NOC from India later this year.
But i was wondering whether falling under PL94-484 makes me ineligible to apply for NOC from India as other ECFMG sponsored physicians also fall under this public law.
Any help especially from a physician in similar scenario will be greatly appreciated, what should be by next step. i am very apprehensive
