I am an exchange student looking to apply for a Taiwanese visitor visa so I can stay in Taiwan for the Spring semester. I have a letter of acceptance from the Taiwanese university I will be attending, but the site requirements also say I need a letter of approval and health check. I couldn’t find any clear info regarding these items through talking with the embassy over the phone or online. I am assuming this Q&A about the health check (https://www.cdc.gov.tw/En/File/Get/A...DREH8opMzk23mQ) is up to date, but it says that the TB screening should be completed in Taiwan, while I would like to apply for the visa before I depart. Are there any exchange students or visitor visa applicants who could help me through this process?
