I have a question regarding the J1 Visa Waiver process. Currently, I am in Stage III and have submitted my application along with all the necessary documents to the US Department of State. My application is pending review.
Although my J1 visa is valid for another year, I need to travel to India for personal reasons. Is it possible for me to leave the USA while my J1 Visa Waiver application is pending, and could this potentially cause any issues with the application?
