Hi everyone,
I have been working in a government lab for 4 years (J-1 in G-3 program). My Immigration Department (ID) is helping me to apply for another J-1in G-7 program, so that I could stay in the lab beyond 5 years.
My ID is telling me that I could have another J-1 visa for additional 3-4 years if I am approved to participate in a G-7 program. I look up the info from Department of State, however, it doesn't mentioned about the longest duration of the J-1 visa under G-7 program. Actually, there is very few information mentioned about the G-7 program.
Does anyone of you have/currently apply for the G-7 program? It seems that it's a brand new program. Any information, suggestion or your experience about the G-7 program J-1 visa would be appreciated.
