really need some help

Hi, I would be really glad if anyone can answer me of my query, the situation is that my wife USC
1)has not worked since September last year,
2)she did file for her tax return this year by using her W2 provided by her employer,
3)she does have a business under her name
4)she also has a house under her name
5)can she file the affidavit of support as self employed, if so what documents do we need for that as her latest tax return was made on the basis of her employment of last year
6)she is currently living abroad with me since last 9 months, if she does start employment here will it help us in anyway
