Hi Senior Members,
I am on H1B and My 6 year term would be over next year july 2013. And my current Visa got expired this year july 2012. Now I have to attend a Global Commercial meeting in Rome, Italy next year jan. So, would it be safer to get the US visa stamping in Canada upfront or should I get the stamping in US consulate in Rome to reenter US?
Brief history- I have got 221g form during Visa stamping in India in 2010. It took me 2 months to get the stamping. Also, my GC is under process and comp filed the labor recently.
So, please help, as I do not want to screw up at this point.
