H1B visa Hyderabad Open Slots

If someone finds open slot in Hyderabad consulate between Nov 26th - Dec 7th , Please post a message in this thread or send me an email at rtippabhotla @ gmail.com ..thanks

The new website sucks , especially limiting the number of times we can see the availability per day. I am opening it every 1-2 hours to check for the dates.

So, it would be helpful if people here collaborate and post a msg in this thread every time they see the dates in hyderabad consulate, in the below format.

As of : Oct 24th 5 AM IST
Dates available : Oct 29th, Nov 1st

Should the OFC appointment be at least 24 hours before actual appointment ? or is it enough if they both are in one day gap ? Cos my OFC is on Nov 28th 11 am and visa apptment is on Nov 29th 9 am .. means 22 hrs gap. Is that fine ?

Hey guys, I have just booked my visa appointment for H1B visa. In the appointment summary ,for consular appointment I see that the visa category is Business/Tourism. Can you guys confirm if this is the same for you as well ? I think Business/Tourism is for B1 B2 visas , so I was getting doubtful whether I had filled anything wrong.

Yes mine is also showing same category as Business/Tourism

The site says OFC should be at least *a day prior* to Visa Interview. Not 24hrs prior to visa interview. So you should be fine.

I have just talked to the customer care regarding the visa category. They said that there is a problem on their end, and we should see the updated visa category with in 24 hours. Nothing to be done from our side.

if NO english dates available...

I was looking for dates in HYD for the week of Nov19th. Since, there is nothing available, do you guys think if it be okay to get an appointment in Hindi or Telugu?
