options for H1B extension if not answered RFE in time line

I had received RFE on client letter during my H1B extension; I need to answer this RFE by Jan 7th 2013. Still I am waiting for the client letter. If in case I am not going to receive the client letter before the RFE time line.

I would like to know the options avilable for extended stay in USA

My details include

1) I-94 got expired

2) VISA got expired.

3) I had completed 6 Yrs.

4) I-140 got approved with company A.

5) I-797 with company A got expired.

6) I have a pending I-797 with RFE on client letter through company A

Please provide me the valuable suggestions/options.

The petition will be denied if RFE is not answered in time and you will become illegal since your I-94 has expired.
