Hello Folks
I need your help & quick advice on below scenario.
1) I am currently on H1 visa. I entered US on L1B Visa in 2009 & later on filed L1 to H1. My H1 is active from Oct 2012 & I am also working at Client side. No Gap.
However, since I was on L1. H1 was filed with change of status & it is not stamped. Have only L1 stamped on passport.
2) my spouse is also on L1B (L1B stamped on Passport). Today her L1 extension request got rejected. I want to file H4 for my spouse.
Question:
I want to know, if I can file H4 for my spouse & she can go to Canada for H4 stamping with my I-797 approval.
If so, Any idea how long does it take to Get Canadian Visitor Visa + File H4 while in US ? Can it be done in 2 weeks?
OR the the only option is go back to India. Get H4 stamped in India & come Back to US.
