Hi,
My wife is holding H4 visa. She is currently in India and plans to visit me in US in April for 2 months on Loss of Pay. Her employer is ready to file her H1B in India but they are saying that she can't travel on H4 visa from the time it's filed to the time it's stamped. I don't have much idea on this. Can someone help.
Please let me know if the H4 to H1 transfer can take place even if she visits US in between.
