Is it possible to apply for H1B while studying under F1? I am currently doing my masters and I have more than a year to finish and apply for OPT. However, I am wondering if I find an employer who can file for H1B for me this april, is it possible to start the process while I am in school under F1 student status?
My school doesn't approve any CPT. That's why, I can't work until H1B gets approved (October 1, 2013). How the application process works? Should I be working for the employer who has filed H1B at the time of application? Or is it possible to apply first and continue studies until October 1, 2013 in order to keep my status and start working for that employer once the H1B is approved?
Many people keep saying that you have to be employed by the company at the time of application. But, I am wondering if there is a possibility to start the process earlier.
