Hi I am praveen, I am currently on L1B visa staying in USA since November 2009. I am planning to apply for H1 this year and my employer committed to file GC for me after getting H1. As I already stayed in US for 4 years under L1, will I get H1 visa for only 1 year or 2 years or 3 years?. If I get H1 for 1 year, is there any chance of GC labor getting cleared before my H1 expires? if my GC labor doesn't clear, if I go back to India, will my GC processing gets impacted?
