H1B Extension - Client email instead of client letter

I am working on corp to corp basis that is - My H1b Sponser employer -> Middle vendor -> End client .

I have to file 7th yr extension and client is denying the job verification letter on letterhead. Instead client is ready to provide a email confirming my job duties and roles. I have to submit that email printout with my extension application.

Will this email work instead of a client letter on letterhead ?
