Hi,
I am currently on H1, but need to move my location soon for family reasons. So, if I end up having to convert to H4,
1) How difficult will it be to convert back to H1 as compared to fresh H1? And as compared to H1 to H1 transfer? Is there an advantage to staying in the current job on H1 and finding another job vs. going to H4 and then trying to find a job.
2) Usually companies have this question in job application - what visa do u have, in that can I still say H1?
3) After leaving the current job, how long will H1 be valid in order to do a transfer?
Looking forward to inputs.
I have used only 1.5 years of my current H1.
