Hi,
H1B visa for my husband expires on Aug 27th 2013, and his employer is filing his extension on June 10th 2013.
My H4 visa and Indian Passport both are due for expiry on 1st July 2013. I have applied for renewal of
Indian passport and it will be available only by 20th of June. Please help me clarify the following details
1. Can my H4 extension be filed separately after the H1 extension for my husband is already filed? And what is the procedure to be followed for that?
3. Is there any time frame before which H4 extension needs to be filed, as I can file for H4 extension only after June 20th after receiving my new passport.
2. How long can I stay in US after the H4 expiry?
