I had the following two questions:
1. I am planning to take my H1-B interview slot in the December 8 - December 13 time frame. How much time should I allow to book my interview slots? Basically, how late can I wait to book the two interview slots?
2. I work in the pharmaceutical industry here in the US, but on the engineering side of the business as I am a Industrial Engineer.Pharmaceutical industry appears in the Technology Alert List. What additional documents do I need to have to make sure that I can present them right away to the Visa officer, in case I get a 221(g), so that I do not have to wait for two months? Also, what are my chances of getting a 221(g)? My work is completely towards the Engineering side and has nothing to do with R&D. Any insight into this would be really helpful.
