H1-B applied in 2014 quota, still awaiting decision. But need to apply H4 now as my L1 I -94 is expiring soon. My question is: Is there any race condition here. Will H4 override my H1 if the approval comes later, as H4 generally take 2-3 months for approval while my H1 approval can come ANY day now as the application was made on April 1st and start date in Oct 1st'2013.
