Hi,
I got my H1B approved with company A this year (start date Oct 1, 2013). However, I was recently informed that it is possible that the company will not hire me. They will decide at the end of September (they are not planning to revoke the H1B before Sept 30). Let’s assume I come to the US on Sept 21 and company A decides not to hire me (sending a revocation request on Sept 30):
1) Do I still have time to find a new job and transfer the visa?
2) How much time do I have? Can visa transfer occur after Oct 1 and after revocation request has been sent?
3) What if I find a new job before Oct 1 with company B. Can it file an H1B visa transfer before Oct 1?
Please advise on this situation.
