  • Concurrent Part time H1-B from a University

    Hi,

I am employed at a MNC on H1-B with all my stuff as regular guy on H1 (GC in process with EB2 etc..), with no immigration issue as of now.

Now, I have this opportunity for teaching part time in a university (Sate university)... Started with some guest lectures which I started giving w/o any payment.... One of my friend suggested me that I should apply (ask University to apply) a part time concurrent H1-B Visa, so I can get paid for all lectures I do... I teach for 10-15 hours a month only!

    I have following questions:

    1. Is it even possible to have two H1-B?
    2. Are universities cap-exempt... Can they file my Visa anytime?
    3. For sure I will ask permission from this MNC for which I work for, but still I would like to know if there is any issue with this two H1-B thing?
    4. I have similar offer from a private university too.. Do you think private universities are also cap-exempt?

Any suggestion would be a great way to help me!

    Thanks!!
