  • H1 B extension based on previous employers approved I 140

    Hello all,
My current H1B expires on Sep 30th 2014 (end of 6 year H1B period). My old employer A had successfully filed my I-140 (approved) with priority date of Dec 2010 and will continue sponsoring it even after my job change to employer B. I have just switched to employer B on approved h1b transfer, valid till Sept 30 2014.
I would like to understand what are my options for H1 extension beyond Sept 2014.

    1. Can Employer B file for H1 extension based on employer A's I 140?

    2. If employer B has approved labor (but not I-140) before Sept 30 2014 , can they still file for my H1 extension based on their labor?

Thanks for your help in advance!
