H1 b Valid... but i-94 expired
Hi,
I came to US on H1b in jan 2013. My passport was expiring in oct 2013 , so at the port of entry i got my i-94 till oct 2013.
once i settled i applied for the new indian passport and got the same. After that i have applied for i-94 extension in july thru my companies attorney. i have received a receipt for the same. It is already december did not receive my i-94 yet.
i. Will I be considered out of status?
ii. What should i do now? Do I wait till I hear from the USCIS office.
iii. Do i go to local CBP office and get my I-94 updated. If so what documents should i carry to CBP office? What Questions are asked at the local CBP office?
