Traveling to India with DUI case pending, for H1b stamping

I got a DUI this morning, 23152 a, court date set for 02/24/14. I am planning a trip to India in Jan second week. What would be the implications of this on my visa stamping since the case is pending ? Can I get the panel report in advance in India to save time ? Should I go to Canada/Jamaica/Mexico for stamping before my India trip if it helps ?

Some background details
1. F1 expired in Jul 2012. OPT was valid till Oct 2013. H1b started on Oct 1 2013.
2. Got pink slip in F1 visa interview for mentioning computer security as major.
3. This is my first h1b stamping
