It may sound like a stupid question but I need help so throwing this question here. Hope i can get some guidance.
I am an MD. I did my medical school in an Asian country but did all of my general surgery training in US. Recently I started working as a consultant General surgeon in rural Kentucky on H1 visa. I have quickly established a very busy surgery practice based in 2 hospitals 1 hours apart. This is a very rural area of US where Americans don't even visit let alone accepting a job.
Last month I have started paper work to register my practice as a limited liability corporation (LLC). I will need employees to help me in my business (surgery practice) and its very difficult to hire an American willing to work in 2 hospitals in this area. One important consideration is that I ll get my green card in 2017 and currently I am on H1 visa. I will be the owner and sole employee of my LLC in the beginning until i start hiring more people.
Question is :
1. Am i eligible to start an LLC being on H1 ? there is quite a lot of material on internet that says that non resident alien can start LLC but i am not sure if that's true.
2. If i can legally start LLC being a general surgeon will i be able to sponsor H1 to hire a well experienced physician assistant through my own company / LLC ?
