H1 B Amendments

My Company has filed non premium H1B amendment for Client A and while amendment is filed with USCIS , I had to come out of project and had to join new project for Client B .This case I want to withdraw my amendment and enable my company to apply fresh H1B amendment for Client B.

Is this possible and how long does withdrawing will take and will be there be any issues for my stay in U.S. in future.
