H1 extension based on GC, I140 approval dropped
Hi, I would like to present my situation here and determine if I have to continue working with my current company or can move to another company. Please see my visa details below:
Steps of my career and visa petitions:
1. Worked in CompanyA, completed H1 6 year period, filed GC, received I-140 approval.
2. Moved to CompanyB, extended H1 for 3 years based on CompanyA's I-140 of the GC.
3. CompanyA withdrew the GC petition and the I-140 after the step-2 completed.
4. CompanyB files GC but it has not crossed the first level yet.
5. CompanyB after 2 years finds no project and I am needing to shift to another company, H1 valid till mid-2015.
My question is, can I shift to a new CompanyC or old CompanyA again for a job opportunity? Will I be able to get H1 extension based on CompanyC's new GC filing? Can I shift company even though my H1 is on extension based on my GC?
