Hello Folks,
I attended the visa interview on 22-may-14 at chennai consulate where i was given a blue slip - 221(g) and no additional documents or passport were asked for or submitted after the interview, but i have received an email on 23-jun-14 saying that my passport is being returned to OFC for pickup (email is below). The CEAC status still shows administrative processing and passport status tarcker shows "passport ready for pickup" !!!
Is this some sort of system error ? Can is go in person and check at the OFC why this email to collect my passport is being sent when i still have my passport with me ? any suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks.
