I received an update from my employer that my H1B is not picked in lottery on May 10, 2014. But he is saying he is yet to receive the rejection packet. I had paid a security deposit. The employer says he will return the deposit once the rejection packet is received.
Could someone suggest if receiving the rejection packet takes so much time (around 2 months).
Is there any cutoff date for USCIS to return the rejection packet to the employer.
Is there any genuine reason for waiting for the rejection packet to return the security deposit?
