Hi All, My H1-B expires 09/30/2014.
I-94 expires 10/05/2014.
Extension has been filed by current employer. In process with USCIS, hence I will get 240 days I-94 extension. This will most likely end up in RFE.
If new employer files an H1B transfer in "premium", what will happen if -
1- I GET the receipt number of transfer before 09/30, what about rest of the transfer completion process. Is it tied up to the extension process? If extension gets delayed due to RFE will it hold back the H1B transfer too ? Denial of Extension results in H1B transfer cancelation too ?
2- I DO NOT GET the receipt of transfer by 09/30. Will transfer process still go on in parallel with the extension process exclusively ? Or transfer process will not complete until extension of H1B is completed ?
