H4 visa extension
Hello
I currently live in USA on H1B visa which is expiring at the end of the year. My company applied for my H1B visa extension and I have received my I-797. My wife has a H4 visa issued last year after our wedding. She went to India for a few months. My visa extension was applied after she went to India and my company lawyers said they cant apply for her H4 extension since she is not in the USA.
I am traveling to India in 3 weeks and I need to get my visa extension stamped. I am not sure what the process is for my wife's H4 visa. I am eligible for the interview waiver (dropbox) service. I am not sure if my wife H4 is also extended along with my visa extension. If not what is the process to get her H4 visa extension.
Any help is much appreciated.
