I would like to get some clarifications regarding work visa status change.
I am currently working with L1 (Company A)visa, and I have got a new H1 from another US based company (Company B).
H1 visa was applied, without a status change (COS) by choosing Inform to consulate option.
Now I am not in a position to travel out of country to get stamping for H1-B.
Is it possible to get my status changed while I am inside US itself.
Or is it mandatory to go out of country (base country) and get it stamped.
Would really appreciate response.
