I need your valuable suggestion whether i can apply for H1B or stay with the L1A. Here is the short back ground. I came to USA in L1B visa on 2012. My visa validity is 2 years and by 2014 I have applied for L1B to L1A conversion and it also got approved for two years until 2016 april. As per my company policy, they are not willing to apply Green Card for me. I was advised to go back India and stay for one year for the GC eligibility. I need to go for L1A extension only as per my company advise. I am under a great confusion whether to apply for H1B through any consultancy and if my petition got approved, then it would be more easier for the GC process and also i can work for any company. Kindly need your valuable advise whether is this the right way to choose the H1B process or wait and apply for L1A extension. Will it be any problem if i apply for H1B this year since my L1A got approved by 2014. Kindly advise.
