Query on Bonds signed with consultant for filling H1b Visa from India
Hello Friends,
One of my friend is in India and he has got contact details of a consultant in USA who is ready to file his H1B Visa but has asked him to sign a contract of 25K dollars in case he leaves his company before 12 months.
So we have below questions -
1. What if his visa is selected in lottery and for some personal reasons he is not able to travel to USA. Is the bond signed still valid and will he be required to pay penalty of 25K dollars?
2. What if he doesn't travel after Visa Stamping for some personal reasons. Is the bond signed still valid and will he be required to pay penalty of 25K dollars?
