Currently I am on H4 in USA. The current H4 is expired and I have got an extension for H4 till March 2016. Also, I have filed for H1B for FY 2016, the status of which is yet unknown.
I need to travel to India in the month of August, 2015. I plan to travel to India in Aug start and return to US by Sept 12, though I have no hurry or compulsion to return at exact date. My question is:
Can I return in September? In that case I need to get my extended h4 stamped, right? Will it be a problem to h1 in case I get selected? Or should I return in October? Please suggest me a best and safe way to travel. Thanks in advance.
