I have been living in US on L1B, working for employer A. In 2013, applied for H1B through employer B and petition was approved but didn't apply for COS so stayed with employer A on L1B. Now planning to join the employer B using the approved petition and they have amended the petition which is being sent for approval in premium. I should know the outcome of the amendment in 2 weeks time.
If the petition amendment was approved, Can I start working for the employer b immediately? If so, what will happen if I would like to transfer the visa to another employer. One of my friend is suggesting that I should work with the employer B for atleast 2 months before transferring the H1B to a new employer.He is suggesting this inorder to avoid any RFE. Is this true and should I wait for 2 months to transfer the visa. please clarify.
