one letter mistake in my father's name

Hi,

I have applied for H1b this year, with god's grace my application is picked in lottery.
but In my passport I have used my father's name as surname, in that there is a one letter mistake. in place of "e" they have printed as "a".
So I have decided to correct the name. Will that cause any problem while going for visa stamping?
Because my LCA and other documents will have the old name. please provide your suggestions.
