Hi,
My H1B Petition got approved on August 2010 and I got my visa stamped in the next month. But I have never traveled to USA using that visa. Meantime, I have changed my job and my previous organization took the hard copy of petition from me and canceled my visa. I have my petition number with me (And a scan copy of that petition). When I am checking in the USCIS site I can see that the petition is still in Approve status.
So I would like to know, Can my current organization used that petition to file for amendment (LCA Change) and I will be considered H1B lottery quota exempted ? And my next question , is there any period till which my petition will remain Approved then then revoked automatically or it will remain approved always ?
Any quick response on this topic is much appreciated.
