Working as a full time senior developer in a company and got the I-140 approved with them on EB-2.
My visa expires in Feb 2016. The extension has been filed and I am waiting for approval.
Looking to switch to a different role - "Information Security" in a different company since my current employer doesn't have this position open. This position I am looking for does involve development but also includes responsibilities which I am not working on in my current job.
a) Should I convert the H1 extension to premium so that I can switch to a different company or If I switch now, the other company can apply for my extension?
b) If I switch to the different company, would I able to keep my original priority date?
c) Any issues/potential delay in getting the EAD/Green card because I am switching jobs in a different role?
