Endorsement of spouse's name in Passport needed for child's passport
Me and My Spouse both stay in USA on H1b and H4 respectively, but our child lives in India. We have applied for child's passport with help of Sworn Affidavit to allow grand parent to be the guardian.
Now, Passport application was put on hold asking us to get spouse name endorsed on ones passport and resend Sworn Affidavit with new passport number.
But, I found something on the CGI Houston website regarding the Endorsement, here is the link http://www.cgihouston.org/page/display/49/19
So, shall I need to get re-issue of the passport with spouse name endorse on to it or does anyone tried the Endorsement of spouse's name in Passport as stated in the above link. Which I guess does not need of Re-issue of passport.
Could anyone please assist me here.
