Anyone stuck in 221(g) name check for common names like Amit Kumar, please post how long have you been stuck. I am planning to visit India in the end of December and want to estimate that for how long would I get stuck in 221(g) this time. I have a very common name and have had to wait for 6 months and 4 months in the past for my previous H1-B stampings. I have got H1-B extension twice but this is my first stamping after any extension. Working full time with the same employer for last 5 years.
