I have a H1 visa in my passport (from previous employer) valid until 2017. I got the visa stamping done while i was working for my previous employer. I changed jobs recently and have an approved i797 petition from the current employer. My previous employer revoked the H1b petition.
I am visiting India now and I'm not sure if I should get my stamping done again.
Any help answering these questions would be much appreciated.
1) The visa in my passport is still valid?
1) Do I have to get the new visa stamped?
2) If yes, if I were to check if I qualify for Dropbox, how do I answer this question: If I am applying for an H visa, my prior visa in the same class is still valid or expired within the last 12 months.
