Do I-94 date change with H1B Transfer
Hi All
I have 3 questions mentioned at the bottom.
Visa Details : H1B Visa Valid till Nov 2017, but actual 6 years will be completed by Jan 2017. ( I got an additional 10 months with last extension )
I-94 valid till Nov 2017.
So my questions are , 1.) if I change employer with H1 Transfer, in that case does my H1 visa validity will change back to Jan 2017 ( actual 6 year limit) ?
2.) Does I94 date changes with H1 Transfer, or will it be same as old i.e. till Nov 2017 ?
3.) If the new company applies for GC, then how does that work ? As of now and as per 6 year H1B limit (Jan 2017 ) , I'm no longer in 365 day safe zone. But in case my I-94 remains same ( i.e. Nov 2017 ) , I still have enough time to get my I-140 approved. Am I right ? Please correct me If I'm wrong.
