H1B & H4 VisaStamping : ustravel docs issues

Hello All,

Greetings!

I have been working in the USA for five years.

I am having H1B visa in my passport till SEP-2013. my I-787 receipt is approved for OCT-2015 to APR-2018.
My Spouse and my kid(age 8) have H4 and H4 in their passport expires in JAN-2015. Their 787 receipt is valid for OCT-2015 to APR-2018.
We are all planning to go to Visa interview on JUNE-2016.

I have filled DS-160 for all. But when I tried to fill the US travel docs, due to some issues, I was unable to open the account in my name.
I have created US travel docs profile with my Spouse name and Started filling it as H4 visa and add my name to go to with her for the Visa interview.

1. Is it okay to do that?

2. Since my kid's age is 8, does she need to come with us for visa interview ? or Is she eligible for Interview Wavier?

Please advise.
